This is a story of my life.

It is the story of a skinny little girl who was curious, enthusiastic, and full of love… but afraid of being alone in the dark. Her life’s goal was simple: to live “happily ever after.”

But life had something more in mind.

In her journey, she found more than she ever imagined. She found her great love, the magic of her children, and a life filled with adventure. She discovered a profound silence within herself, and a knowing that there was much more to life than “happily ever after.”

She learned that love is not something that stays or leaves…

but something that deepens, expands, and reveals itself.

And somewhere along the way, the little girl who feared the dark 

began to discover a light within that never goes out.
