3Love
I came into this world knowing that Love was my birthright. From the very beginning, I felt it all around me. I felt Love in the people who cared for me, in moments of connection, encouragement, and closeness. I was comforted and strengthened by this Love, but its impermanence left me longing for more.
I found Love in my mother’s nurturing and affection, my father’s devotion and admiration, and my sister’s curiosity and attention. I felt it in the natural world around me as well.
As I grew, Love continued to shape my life. I found it in friendships, in relationships with boyfriends and with Rich, and in the deep joy of my children, their spouses, my grandchildren, and even my grandkitties.
Nature itself became a source of Love, wrapping me in its beauty, its intelligence, and its tranquility.
Love is now a constant presence that shapes and guides me. It is a gift I give to those around me, like a cup overflowing. I cherish that Love comes easily… and that it quietly waits beneath all that I experience.
And still, I have come to see—
Love does not come and go.
It only seems to, when I look outside for it.
But when I turn within,
it is always there…
waiting, patient,
unchanged.
