 Wholeness

 

One way to answer the question, “What is life?” is Wholeness.

Wholeness is life before we divide it into pieces.

It is the understanding that everything is interconnected — that the material world is not separate, but connected to and embedded within its invisible source, the Divine.

Life is the Divine expressing itself, moving, interacting, and revealing itself through our material world which is only a small part of the Reality. At times it feels as though the material world is all there is.

Still, we are given glimpses of more.

We can see evidence of the Divine in the beauty and grandeur of the world… in moments that take our breath away… in experiences that cannot be explained, only felt.

These moments remind us that life is more than what we see. Life is Wholeness.

Something deeper is always present.

And quietly, if we are open:

The visible world is only the surface…

the deeper truth lives beneath it,

part of it,

not separate,

not distant,

but holding everything together

as one wholeness.
